Since it started trading in September 2006, Taywell has spent a lot of time collecting awards and getting column inches in the press. Accolades and attention have resulted from their retail operation, the ice cream and for introducing new fruit onto the farm.

- Winner - 6 Gold Stars at GTA for The Apprentice’s Toffee Apple, Lemon Curd, Honeycomb, Strawberry and White Malteser Ice Cream and Passion Fruit Sorbet 2008
- Winner - West Kent Business Award for Best New Business 2008
- Runner Up - Produced in Kent’s Best Innovative New Product - White Malteser Ice Cream 2008
- Semi-finalist - HSBC Best New Start-up Business 2009
