Our showing at The Great Taste Awards has been immensely pleasing for us. We came away with 6 Gold Stars; one each for Honeycomb, White Malteser Explosion, Lemon Curd, Strawberry, The Apprentice’s Toffee Apple and the final one for Passion Fruit Sorbet.

 

Strangely, we were initially told that we had won another for Blackberry & Apple Crumble ice cream but at the final awards, it did not appear. As it has been a commercial success and I prefer it to many of the others, I find it sad but 6 awards is quite satisfying.

 

This put us second, behind Minghella Ice Creams, who won 8 and who are internationally recognised.

In order to celebrate our appearance on ‘The Apprentice’, we created one of the flavours that was made on the show (not by our team, I have to say).

 

We all think it is delicious so next time you want something to talk about at home, try our “The Apprentice’s” Toffee Apple Ice Cream.

 

As you can imagine, we have been thrilled to see that the judges at The Great Taste Awards gave us a Gold Star for this flavour.
