It has been pandemonium over the last few weeks as the combination of our 15 minutes of fame on ‘The Apprentice’, combined with sales of asparagus and strawberries kept us all very busy.

Demand in the shop beat all records and we are trying to cope with general demand which is 25% up on last year.

We have been so busy that we did not have time to celebrate our second anniversary because all hands have been busy getting our new venture ready. See next story...

We have opened a new shop! Yes, Taywell has opened its second shop at Lamberhurst Vineyard and we are calling ourselves ‘Taywell at the Vineyard’.

Lamberhurst is one of the oldest Kent vineyards and we were asked to take over the running of the vineyard shop which we naturally accepted.

Our appearance on this programme on BBC1 gave us huge publicity and we are working hard to keep up with the interest it generated.
