When we came to look for a premium ice cream to sell in our shop we were disappointed with what we found so in a moment of rashness, we decided to make our own. Six months of construction later, tens of thousands of £’s of investment, hours of work spent rearranging two barns and here we are hand-making hundreds of litres of ice cream and sorbet a week using only the finest and freshest ingredients; one can really taste the difference!

The milk and cream come from the dairy at High Halden, a little village not far from here and the fruit comes from the farm. The end result is a portfolio of over 40 different flavours with some important, unique selling points:

No added preservatives (‘e’ numbers)

No artificial additives, colours, stabilisers

No milk powder or reconstituted whey

No GM products      

Gluten free with a range of diabetic ice cream

We don’t bulk out the product with extra air      

(‘Soft scoop’ is 50-100% air and you pay for this!)

Next time you buy an ice cream, just take a look at the ingredient list and you might well be shocked. One famous, national brand has 13 ‘e’ numbers listed along with both milk powder and reconstituted whey. In fact, we don’t think this should even be sold as an ice cream!

We believe our ice cream and sorbet is the best in the country and we dare you to find something better. We cover hotels, pubs and shops from Rye to Sevenoaks and welcome all trade enquiries. We now sell into some of the London theatres.
